IRH Engineering, Département BEFS-PEC

BEFS-PEC, previously known as PECSIE, designs and constructs installations to treat waste resulting from the operation or dismantling of nuclear power stations. BEFS-PEC can carry out :

- construction management and start up supervision

Solid Waste Treatment (SWT)

BEFS-PEC has built the SWT plants for all of EDF's nuclear power stations and for all the plants built by Framatome. These facilities solidify radioactive liquid concentrates and stabilise solid waste products prior to transport and storage.
