Consafe Engineering is one of the longest established designers and manufacturers of steel modular buildings. Originally a specialist in offshore construction, the company has also broadened into nuclear, pharmaceutical and blast resistant buildings. Fabricated in Consafes own facilities, the modular buildings can be designed to accommodate any industrial process and can be substantially tested and precommissioned prior to delivery and assembly almost anywhere in the world.
Consafe have manufactured five modular building complexes for handling of Low/Intermediate level waste for BNFL which were installed at Drigg (Sellafield).
